From our offices in Charlotte, North Carolina, we equally service businesses and individuals within our immediate area and surrounding states. Matt Jelnicky, CPA, CFP, Founder

Matt holds a masters degree in taxation and was formerly an instructor at a large university teaching tax and accounting classes. He has several years experience in a "Big 4" firm as well as several years in a regional firm. He believes that his experience in both small firms and large firms has enabled him to be positioned to help companies better than the average "behind the desk" accountant. As a part of his commitment to the community, Matt has directed the firm to prepare tax returns for several non-profit organizations pro bono. He sits on the financial advisory committee of the Carolina Crown, Inc. drum and bugle corps and supports the Hope for Holt Foundation. When not helping his clients build wealth he enjoys playing acoustic guitar, golf and reading. Matt is a member of the Charlotte chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association (NSAI) and attends many Charlotte venues where local song writers can be heard. An avid New York Jets fan, on game days you will find Matt with Charlotte Jets Fans celebrating their team's successes and lamenting their losses. Matt is also a participant in "Strategic Coach?", a national executive development group.

Walt McSwain, Senior Accountant

Walt holds bachelors degrees in accounting, finance, and political science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Having an extensive background in the preparation of S-corporation, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns after working with an IRS enrolled agent, Walt completes much of the research regarding tax law for the firm. He is preparing to sit for the CPA exam in Spring 2011.
Deborah Sweeney, Executive Assistant

Deborah is a licensed securities assistant and holds a bachelors degree in accounting. She also holds securities licenses series 7, 24, and 63.
